How Our Creative Curriculum Works

Choosing the right curriculum for your preschool can be a daunting task. With so many options available, how do you know which one is right for your child? At Tiny Turtles Preschool of Jupiter, we believe a creative curriculum is the best way to go. Our approach is based on play and exploration, allowing children to learn through their own experiences. In this blog post, we will discuss our creative curriculum and how it works!

Teacher guides children with colorful pencils and letter cards. Based on the Natural Ways Children Learn

In order to best support our students, we base our creative curriculum on the ways in which children naturally learn. This means our classrooms are designed to encourage exploration and hands-on learning. We believe this type of environment is more conducive to learning than a traditional lecture-based approach.

As your child ages, their educational needs will change. That’s why we offer a targeted curriculum for each age group at our preschool. We have different curricula for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and beyond. This allows us to focus on the developmental needs of each age group and ensure your child is getting the most out of their time here.

Teacher and kids enjoy building with colorful learning blocks. A Print-Rich Environment

One of the hallmarks of our creative curriculum is a print-rich environment. This means our classrooms are filled with books, magazines, and other printed materials. This exposure to print is important for developing literacy skills and preparing for future school success.

Plenty of Thematic Units

In addition to a print-rich environment, our creative curriculum also includes a variety of themed units and enrichment programs. These units help children learn about different topics in a fun and engaging way. Some of our themed units include computer labs, reading, writing, arts and crafts, math, science, music, physical education, library, dramatic play, and age-appropriate separate playgrounds.

We believe our creative curriculum is the best way to prepare your child for school and beyond. If you have any questions about our approach, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Tiny Turtles Preschool of Jupiter, Florida. We would be happy to discuss our curriculum with you in more detail!
